2. Instruction For Installation:
2.1 The PRV is suitable for water temperature up to 80℃ and inlet pressures up to 16 bar. Typically these valves are used on the incoming water supply.
2.2 The PRV must be fitted to direction arrow on the body. For ease of servicing it is recommended to install isolating valves upstream and downstream of the valve.
3. Setting Instruction:
The PRV has been preset at factory to 3 bar. When adjusting pressure settings:
3.1 Pressure gauge installation, you can choose to install the pressure gauge before the pipeline installation. If it is to be installed at a later stage, must cut off the water supply before the PRV.
3.1.1 As shown in Figure 1, use a wrench to unscrew the blockage of the PRV in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.
3.1.2 Wrap enough raw material tape or apply thread sealant to the screw on the pressure gauge.
3.1.3 As shown in Figure 2, use a wrench to install the pressure gauge on the PRV. Note that force must be applied on the four-square plane of the pressure gauge interface when tightening, and the dial part cannot be directly rotating.
3.2 Pressure regulation, in order to ensure that the adjusted pressure behind the valve is the correct pressure, before starting to adjust, it is necessary to close all valves and taps in use after the PRV.
3.2.1 As shown in Figure 3, turn the regulating ring in the valve left and right with a flathead screwdriver, turn counterclockwise to reduce the pressure behind the valve, and turn clockwise to increase the pressure behind the valve.
3.2.2 During the pressure adjustment process, pay attention to the pressure change on the pressure gauge on the valve.
