2. Function
1-The PRV can be installed in the home water supply main pipeline, mainly used to reduce and stabilize the pipeline pressure of the independent water supply or pressurization water supply system.
2-The PRV is used in hot and cold water pipes in homes or apartments, and the PRV is usually installed at the front end of the hot and cold water supply equipment to prevent excessive pressure from water outlets such as faucets and showers.
3-SS304 seal ring is used at the valve body and spool seal of the decompression valve, which can effectively alleviate the generation of scale.

4. Instruction For Installation:
1-The PRV can be installed horizontally or vertically on the pipe, and the flow direction must be in the same direction as the arrow on the valve body.
2-The pressure gauge can be installed on the front or back of the valve body according to the installation scenario.
3-For ease of maintenance, an isolation valve is recommended for the front end of the PRV.
5. Setting Instruction
5.1 Pressure gauge installation, you can choose to install the pressure gauge before the pipeline installation, If it is to be installed at a later stage, must cut off the water supply before the PRV. The pressure gauge can be installed on the front or back of the valve body according to the installation scenario. Make sure that the pressure gauge is facing the side that can be read by the line of sight after installation.
5.1.1 As shown in Figure 1, use the Allen wrench to unscrew the PRV plug in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.
5.1.2 Wrap enough raw material tape or apply thread sealant to the screw on the pressure gauge.
5.1.3 As shown in Figure 2, install the pressure gauge on the PRV with a wrench. Note that the force must be applied on the square plane of the pressure gauge interface when tightening, and the dial part cannot be directly rotated.
5.2 Pressure regulation, in order to ensure that the adjusted pressure behind the valve is the correct pressure, before starting to adjust, it is necessary to close all valves and taps in use after the PRV.
5.2.1 As shown in Figure 3, loosen the limit ring in the direction indicated by the arrow (counterclockwise) to ensure sufficient space for pressure adjustment.
5.2.2As shown in Figure 4, using a flat-head screwdriver, turn the adjusting ring inside the valve left and right, turn counterclockwise to reduce the pressure behind the valve, and turn clockwise to increase the pressure behind the valve. When the required pressure is adjusted, tighten the limit ring clockwise.
5.2.3 During the pressure adjustment process, pay attention to the pressure change on the pressure gauge on the valve.
